• Founded in 1964.Headed by Rabbi Yisrael Lifschitz, a Yeshiva University graduate. Rabbi Dr. Lippa Friedman is the High School Principal. The program will be lead by Rabbi Elisha Citroen, a Yeshiva University graduate as well.

• Students have vigorous Yeshiva studies program: they study intensely Jewish studies, i.e. Talmud, Tanach, Jewish Philosophy, Jewish Law etc.
• Students have vigorous general studies program that leads to matriculation (Bagrut): they can major in 5 points Physics, 5 points Biology, Computers, Electronics alongside other subjects: Hebrew, History, Mathematics (3,4,5 points), English, Civics, etc.
• We have been extremely successful with the Bagrut results.
• Most of our graduates go on to learn in Hesder Yeshivot and University.

Yeshivat Bnei Akiva "Ohel Shlomo" has much experience in teaching new immigrants, as we have done so over the last 35 years. The student body, made up mostly by Beer Sheva residents is a warm and friendly one.
The school prides itself in its many extracurricular activities and trips. We are a Zionist oriented religious school and our social calendar is in accordance with our ideals: trips to Jerusalem, to the rest of the country in order to get a strong love for the Land of our forefathers.
